Love, love, love your quilt - just fabulous! I'd suggest an old favourite for Christmas viewing - It's A Wonderful Life. I call it my Christmas cry, but it's always a good reminder of how blessed we are even when we think that we aren't.

This IS a very pretty bundle. I don't do a lot of reading so I can't give you a book recommendation and it seems lately I haven't had much time to watch movies. As soon as I get a few minutes, I plan to watch some old Elvis movies. Maybe you'd like to see one or two too.

First of all thanks Leanne for being one of the hosts for the 2016FAL; it really does give me a boost to (try ha) to focus. I'd suggest two books, one of which I am about 2/3 through, The Florabama Ladies Auxiliary and Sewing Circle (light read, think Steel Magnolias or a bit of Erin Brockovitch) and The Camel Bookmobile (not as light a read, might open your eyes as to plights of villagers in Kenya regarding literacy etc).

This is a lovely bundle :) As for books, do you know Tana French? She writes murder mysteries, but somehow they are much more than that and, I think, they are very well written. There are 6 book and they may be read separately although if you read them in order, you get to know some characters better. (Also, if you like Irish accent, they are great as audiobooks.) The newest one is The Trespasser, which might just be my new favourite (until now it was probably The Likeness).

Is that orange I see? Squeal!! Let's see - for books, I'm a cozy mystery reader, particularly the quilting/knitting/crocheting ones. A new series for me is Mary Marks' quilting mysteries. And I'm more of a "watch TV series on Netflix" gal versus a movie gal. I've just started, and am really enjoying, Murdoch Mysteries.

Unknown said...

I love this grouping! I like Love Actually and Nestor, The Long Eared Donkey...both movies. Sunnysky223@embarqmail.com

I love holiday movies and black and white films. So my recommendations are Christmas in Connecticut, White Christmas, Remember the Night, and Holiday with Kathryn Hepburn. It's a good time to read the first book of the Narnia series The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, and the Hobbit. The Hobbit has so many food references that it makes me hungry!

I love this fat quarter bundle! Orange is a very cheeky color. It's too bad most people just associate it with autumn and Halloween. I follow you on Bloglovin'.
