As I said on instagram, we start the quilting young around here.
On Saturday we decided it was just too quiet around here without any pets so we adopted two brother kittens who were rescued by the Humane Society. They are about 3 months old, and tiny. They pretty much took all the sewing time on the weekend and are threatening to do that for the next few days too. That one is called Sundance.
This is Butch and he is the one with the mittens. Butch is bigger and the lead explorer. Sundance is just so cute - you know like the movie.
They have golden eyes to match their orange/gold fur. And they are either on the move or sleeping.
They are very small. The dirty kitchen tiles are 12" square.
And most of the photos are blury like this as they won't sit still. I need to get my telephoto lens out.
My son's feet might be larger than they are.
Look at the tiny pink nose. This amount of cuteness surely should not be allowed.
Curious, and getting to know their way about.
And often sleeping beside my youngest, who is off school for a 5 day weekend - so I took today off too, it only seemed fair. We have Remembrance Day tomorrow in Canada.
And it is also the second Tuesday of the month tomorrow so in addition to remembrance, we shall open the Scraptastic Tuesday link for one week only this time, for your scrappy projects - finished or in progress or your thoughts on scraps. We heave great sponsors and prizes again so Nicky and I are hoping you will be joining us.
Best,
Leanne

ReplyDeleteOMG I AM COMING TO CANADA TO STEAL THEM. Um, I mean, they're pretty cute. I wanted an orange kitten so badly, but instead we got CC. And she was a little one pound fluff ball just year ago, but now she's a giant beast and I really need a baby kitten again. So I might steal yours.
