Tomorrow is the second Tuesday of the month and Nicky - Mrs. Sew and Sow - and I are hosting the monthly Scraptastic Tuesday link up. You can link up a scrappy project you have made already and wish to share, one you are just finishing, still working on, have planned or some tips about using, storing, controlling or collecting your mountain of scraps.
We are asking for just one link per person please. And if we can sort it out, you should be able to link to the same linky party from either my blog or Nicky's, check in tomorrow.
We have rounded up some fantastic sponsors for our first link up. A huge thank you to each of them for the following prizes, which will be awarded randomly:
- Sew me a Song - a $20 gift certificate
- Oakshott - a 10" square Autumn Oakshott cotton pack
- Massdrop - a Joel Dewberry Birch Farm fat quarter bundle
- Fluffy Sheep Quilting - a bundle of beautiful remnant scraps
- Fat Quarter Shop - a $25 gift certificate
- Mad About Patchwork - a $30 gift certificate
We will give you at least a week to link up this month, and maybe a bit more, we shall see.
I also see that there is now an easy way to link up to the link party straight from Instagram so I will include some instructions on that in my post tomorrow for anyone who would rather link from there than from a blog post or Flickr.
It is holiday Monday here - Happy Thanksgiving to you all - so I am off to play with my scrappy projects so I have something to share tomorrow. Here are some pictures of this weekend's sewing so far.
I have put my solid scraps into a bin and I am making more panels for the tiny guitar case I blogged about here.
This is how my space looks at night, computer, phone, paper, sweater, oh and you saw the coffee or tea in the other photo.
Yesterday I was cutting more solids, maybe I will get that new pattern made soon.
And there she is, the new cutting table from Martelli. It is on a hydraulic lift so can go to all heights, including sitting, it has a fantastic indestructible mat, and came with all kinds of templates and such. Once I learn how to use it I will tell you lots more about it.
And if you missed it, I have a beautiful give away of a bundle of Moonshine by Tula Pink in the Meadow colourway sponsored by Sew Sisters here, if you have not entered yet, please do, go here - those fabrics are stunning.
Best,
Leanne

Your new cutting table looks very snazzy and I can't wait to hear more about it!
that is quite the table!
My sewing space looks just like that, except that I clearly need a lave lamp!... and that Martinelli table!! Swoon!! Looking forward to the guitar case!! X!
What is the brand name of your sewing? I am looking for a new table where I can have the machine
level with the top and not sit on top of the table. Thanks
Yay for the new table. Looks great! I also like your all solids project and thank you for encouraging us to use our scraps.
