Featuring the Fat Quarter Shop and a give away


Today I am featuring one of the lovely sponsors of my blog, the Fat Quarter Shop. I am guessing that many of you shop at the Fat Quarter Shop already, but if you do not, I encourage you to go and take a look. You will find most every fabric you were hoping to find, in a user friendly interface which is easy to navigate. There are fabrics, notions, patterns, magazines, thread and more, which they are happy to ship to shoppers most anywhere in the world.

Beyond the shopping, the Fat Quarter Shop is very much a part of the online quilting community. They host quilt alongs, give away free patterns - like their Layer Cake Lemonade pattern - and feature notions and patterns each month. You can join them by following their blog, The Jolly Jabber and signing up for their newsletter.

Lately, I have been enjoying the Fat Quarter Shop Youtube Channel. There are a lot of videos and new ones come out all the time - videos which show how to use a sewing notion, how to make blocks, how to make whole quilts, tips and tricks, interviews from quilt market and more. There is even a video about how to make the free patterns, including Layer Cake Lemonade. I often watch these videos while I am sewing.


Today the Fat Quarter Shop has a layer cake of Daydreams, which is Kate Spain's latest fabric line for me to give away to one of you.

For a second chance to win, sign up for the Fat Quarter Shop Newsletter,  subscribe to their YouTube Channel and/or follow their blog and leave me a second comment letting me know which one(s) you did or if you already do, just let me know that in your second comment.

I will draw the winner using the random number generator after 3 p.m. on Valentine's Day, Friday, February 14, so that the prize will be a little something extra on Valentine's Day for one of you. Oh, and make sure I can reach you (if in doubt, leave me you email in your comment) or you won't be able to win.
