Today I would like to thank all of the generous sponsors who have provided prizes for the Q4 FAL draws. Remember that each eligible finish that you link up (go here to link up) is one entry into the random draw for each prize. So get your finishes linked and if you are working on one last finish, these great prizes will give you some more incentive to get it done.
On behalf of all of the FAL participants, I would like to thank each one of are our wonderful sponsors:
Surprise Package from Rhonda at Quilter in the Gap
£25 Gift Certificate from Tikki London
When you have a minute to browse around the internet shops, please click through the above links and visit the FAL sponsors. These are all excellent shops - I have purchased from almost every single one of them. And don't forget to stop to thank them for being a FAL sponsor, whether you are buying or not.
And here is a glimpse of what I have been working on this week. My flickr friend Linda Rotz Miller was making beautiful quilts using Blended Scraps Blocks like these, so now I am playing with them too. Linda says the block is an adaptation of a block from Maaike Bakker's book Strip Pieced Quilts. So I am playing with some of my own scraps now too. I will share more about this quilt once the Q4 FAL tutorial series is over and we have our Q4 winners, but I could not resist giving you a peek today (and you can always see more on instagram in the meantime if you are impatient).
Good luck with that last finish, and remember, whatever is not done in time for the Q4 link can certainly go on your Q1 2014 list.
Best,
Leanne

I snuck in a last finish yesterday!
Yay for the sponsors! I got slightly sidetracked with a new project, but I need to get the white out later, so maybe I'll knock up a couple of finished porthole cushions too :oD
Love your new project :o)

Three cheers for the Sponsors! Linda is always such an inspiration to me too.
Love your blended scraps blocks. But then I love anything scrappy! Jxo
Love those scrappy blocks!
I've been loving these blended scrap blocks on Instagram. They are great, such a clever idea and yet quite a simple block.
