October was not a month that I finished a lot of sewing in. However, the things I made make me happy, great bee blocks, a cashmere hat for Krista - Poppyprint, a time intensive quilt and a fun mini quilt.
I am also flattered and proud to tell you that Cycles 2 has been nominated into the Viewer's Choice group in the Blogger's Quilt Festival. There are a few of my favourites in that group by my friends so voting will be tough. Please do go and vote, you need to go here and then scroll and scroll all the way down to the bottom (don't give up, it is there) and if you vote for Cycles 2, thank you. And while you are there, vote in all the other festival categories too, the quilts are wonderful and Amy has done a lovely job of putting the festival on again this fall.
Finally, it is the weekend. I am going to relax, sew, catch up on blog reading, and make some turkey soup. We have snow predicted for tomorrow.
