So as your hostess for the Finish-A-Long, I have the privilege of sharing my finishes from my Q1 FAL List - which is here - first.
I am very proud to show you my king size Mod Pop. She still does not have an official name, although I am leaning toward Molten or Lava Lamp. This quilt is big - king size - and I have been sleeping under her every night. You can read the Ta Da post about her here.
I finished this quilt as part of the Mod Pop QAL and you can see other finishes Mod Pops linked here or in the flickr group here. Julie's wonderful pattern is here.
My second and only other finish for Q1 is my lovely Scrappy Tripalong quilt - Trippy #1. This quilt often cuddles with me when I am reading the internet. Her Ta Da post is here and the link to the pattern is in that post too.
That it for me this quarter, 2 finishes out of 6 excellent projects. I did make some bee blocks, and a couple of mini quilts and went to QuiltCon and stuff, and that old statitis has been acting up this quarter too. But no more finishes from my FAL list. I am going to have a long list for next quarter, it is a good thing the sun stays up longer in the spring.

I can't wait to see how many beautiful projects you have finished and gotten out of your sewing rooms this quarter. Agree with Debbie (as usual) that this FAL has helped me really move along on some of my projects, so thanks for hosting this. I know it's a lot of work and I really appreciate it!
Of course, I'm now wondering if I did it "correctly," that is--one post per completed item and then an additional post showing everything? If that's correct, that's what I did. If that is NOT what we were supposed to do, then feel free to take off that last "overall" post of mine.
I smiled when I saw your Mod Pop being shown with snow on the ground--perfect! for showing off the reason why we like to have quilts to snuggle under. I know that a king-sized quilt is HUGE and so hard to handle under the machine, so in my mind this is worth a bundle of finishes even though it's only one item. I love seeing that quilt--the bright colors really cheer up a gray day. And congrats also on the Scrappy Trip-A-Long. I see lots of those in various incarnations, but nice to see a completed one.

Yeah lava lamp - that's cool and so apt for your quilt. Two great finishes Leanne! Huge quilts and intense quilting.
I love the Mod Pop (is that the pattern name because I like it for the quilt too!). A modern quilt is now definitely on my bucklet list.
Love, love, love the Scrappy Trip quilt too. I've got my strips gathered but am waiting to get a few more UFOs completed before I start in (starts this year have to get finished this year). Seeing these always makes me anxious to get started!

Not sure if I should still link since I didn't finish anything, but still thought I should be accountable for my lack of progress. Even though I didn't finish, I did focus on a project and get more done on it than I probably would have. Thanks for the motivation.
