Well, looking back, I did manage a few things in April - blocks, swaps, a baby quilt and tutorial and progress on two quilts. More than I thought.
Especially since I also designed, pieced, quilted and finished
Red.
I love this shot with the shadow of the tree.
I am linking to Lynne at
Lily's Quilts Fresh Sewing Day. There will be lots of inspiration posted there - I will be checking it all out on the weekend, you should too.
This week is crazy busy at work, I have emails to write and blogs to read, it settles a bit this weekend and then I am planning and packing and sewing for London. I can hardly wait.
Best,
Leanne

ReplyDeleteAll beautiful, but I said that individually!
ReplyDeleteOh have you got your classes yet?
Yes what classes are you in!? Lovely stuff but isn't it always!
ReplyDeleteLove the tree shadow too! Photography as well as sewing excellence!
Love your April mosaic. Lots of beautiful bright colours.
ReplyDeleteStill loving red, it's stunning.
Leanne--love that RED quilt of yours, and the silhouette of the tree lends a lovely counterpoint to your perfect quilting. You've had a very busy April, putting the rest of us to shame, but oh--so fun to see your projects all lined up in a gallery. That's really a very good idea, because it makes us stop and slow down and realize how far we've come.
ReplyDeleteHave a grand time in London, even though you don't leave just yet (I'm terribly jealous!). Say hi to the Queen. My son was there last week and brought me home a Jubilee souvenir--I was thrilled. I'll look forward to reading about it when you return.

You've had a fabulous quilting month..the mosaic looks fabulous and of course I love Red.
ReplyDeleteThe London trip is getting rather close, isn't it.
I understand busy. May is INSANE for me!!!
ReplyDeleteStunning quilt! I love the contrast between the bits of patchwork and wholecloth.
ReplyDeleteRed is gorgeous! I like how the quilting really adds a lot of texture and plays against the stripes of the colored fabric. It all ties together beautifully! What a lovely April mosaic too. :)
