Welcome to Sew Mama Sew's Giveaway Day. I am giving away this 241 Tote, which I made from the pattern by Anna Graham at Noodlehead. It is made from Amy Butler fabrics that were in my stash.
The inside features a large pocket and a snap closure. I had a lot of fun making this tote and I recommend the pattern.
My name is Leanne and welcome to my blog. I hope you might take a minute to look around at the quilting projects that I share here. You do not need to follow this blog to enter the contest, but if you like what you see, I would love you to follow along.
It could be hanging on your door handle. If you would like to enter to win this tote you need to leave me a comment on this post. Only one comment per person, please (I will remove extra ones). I plan to relax a lot over the holidays, so please recommend a book or a movie to enjoy while sitting by the fire.
I will draw a random winner after 6 pm on Friday December 16, 2011. If you have not attached an email to your profile, please leave it in the comment. If there is no way to contact you, I will draw again immediately. I am happy to ship anywhere in the world from my home in Canada.
Edited to add: Already I have a bunch of "no-reply" comments. Please add your email to your comment if you are not certain your email address is attached to your profile. If I cannot reach you and you are the winner, I will draw again.
I am also giving away some fabric - Echo by Lotta Jansdotter, so if you have not entered that contest, please click here to do that now. And click the button to go back to Sew Mama Sew so you can enter the rest of the give aways.
Thank you everyone, this giveaway is now closed. The winner is Debra!
Enjoy the contest hopping!
Best,
Leanne

ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I love the fabrics you picked for this bag.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if you like Christmas-y movies but I always recommend "Elf" this time of year. But then again, it's one of my favorites! Same with the Christmas Story!
Wowee I have bought the bag pattern recently but no time to make it - your fabric choices are fantastic! I'd love to hang it on my shoulder! Book to recommend? The English Patient by Michael Ondaatje, or anything by him actually! Have a great Christmas.

ReplyDeleteOh yes please Leanne...forming an orderly queue as I type.
ReplyDeleteI've seen this pattern a lot lately, would be nice that someone has made one already instead of me having to sew one. Your AB version is very pretty. I don't read so can't help you there, not sure about a movie either except for kids ones like Tangled.
ReplyDeleteBoy, a book or movie? I don't really read much other than quick, fun stuff. My latest book was Dallas to New York (or was is New York to Dallas???), one of J.D. Robb's In Death series about a homicide detective in 2060. Sometimes racy with the love scenes, which really makes it all the much more fun. As for movies, I hardly ever see them any more, but I love the Harry Potter series, especially the later ones when they get darker and the kids' acting is better, or the Lord of the Rings series, but I have the directors cuts - highly recommend those.
ReplyDeleteHappy vegging!
This is such a beautiful bag! I would recommend Wishin' and Hopin' by Wally Lamb. It's a low key book that my book club is currently reading. I haven't finished it yet, but I am enjoying the read!

ReplyDeleteI love this pattern and you picked such great fabrics. If you haven't read it already, I really like The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic bag - love the shape & adore the colours that you chose! Recommend a book.. huh, I'm a new mum, I haven't read a book for ages well, except for The Gruffalo - I've probably read that over 100 times now cos it's bubba's fav book!!
ReplyDeleteI thought "Limitless" was a great movie. and "Incendies". Neither are very relaxing but good movies:)
ReplyDeleteTo answer your question: Yes, yes, yes! I would love a 241 bag. This is gorgeous! I'm in Canada too - cheaper postage if you send within the country, wink wink.
ReplyDeleteIf you haven't read the Hunger Games series yet, I highly recommend it! Just don't start it at bedtime or you'll be up all night!
ReplyDeleteI love the fabrics on that tote!
ReplyDeleteI highly recommend the hunger games series.
Beautiful bag, and I'd love to have it.
ReplyDeleteAs to the book - have you read The Wind in the Willows? I find this book perfect for a read by the fire. They made a cartoon out of it, but it has none of the book's charm.
