Much of my time is spent quilting these blocks (edited to add: these are my Bloggers Block-a-Palooza blocks, there are earlier posts about them). It is really fun to be able to spin them around and change the angle without a care to how much of the rest of the quilt has to move.
And here is the back.
This one has flying geese.
And one more.
I am hoping to get my nerve up to do some interesting free motion quilting, not just straight lines.
I am reading tutorials about how to join the blocks, I will post links to a bunch of excellent ones when I start the joining process.
There are other interesting projects over at Quilt Story, you should have a look.

That looks great...and you are enjoying it..nice for you....I've never don the qayg..may have to try it sometime..
I want to see how they are joined up too! This is awesome. My little machine does not cooperate for quilting of anything larger than a doll quilt.
These look like your Block-a-palooza blocks- this will be so cool as I was pondering how to quilt mine now that the top is all pieced together.
Beautiful! I would love to try this method!
Very nice blocks...love the colors you use!
Nice quilting! And so much easier with smaller blocks than with a whole quilt. I'd love to know how you end up joining them together. I've tried several quilting as you go methods and still haven't found one to use a second time, but someday I will.
Just stopping in from Fabric Tuesday. My link is http://carolburris.com/family-life/boxed-squares-quilt/
